TRAINING COURSES & CURRICULUM

The Emergency Management Training (EMT) program is a FEMA-developed series of courses designed to provide both professional and technical training to the state and local emergency management personnel. The courses provide the skills needed to develop and maintain an emergency management program, and to be prepared to guide their governments in proper response to all types of emergencies. The program also includes the development of exercise programs to test the skills of the emergency management communities and the validity of the emergency plans.
