TEMA MIDDLE REGION OFFICE

	The Middle Tennessee Region for TEMA consists of the 38 counties east of the Tennessee River and west of the Eastern Time Zone.  The communities involved range from the smallest unincorporated areas to the state's second largest city, Nashville.
	The region consists primarily of flatlands, with moderate hills that slowly rise up onto the Cumberland Plateau.  The major hazards faced by the communities in the Middle Region are:
