LOCAL EMERGENCY PLANNING COMMITTEES

The Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) is a group composed of local government, media, business and community officials that monitor and oversee the chemical safety status in the local community.  Required by the SuperFund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986, LEPC's are charted by the State Emergency Response Council (SERC), and act as a clearinghouse for chemical safety data within their respective area.

The links below will provide you with the LEPC directories for each of the three TEMA regions within the state.  You may either click on the region in the map or the link under the map to view the directory.
