EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT
TRAINING & EDUCATION
One of the agency's primary
functions is the provision of training to various state, local, federal and
private sector emergency response personnel. This includes training in
basic emergency management functions such as emergency planning, to the
training of hazardous materials technicians. In fiscal year 1998, TEMA
provided training to over 3300 personnel.
